While Scotland may be home to haggis, porridge, tatties, and neeps, it’s also home to some outrageously delicious Scottish desserts.
Some of the best aren’t always in the most obvious places. Sometimes, you have to seek out the hidden gems in order to taste something truly spectacular. Lucky for you, we’ve done that research for you, (tough job, right?) and come up with this list of indulgent treats to try in Scotland.
Add them to your foods-to-eat-before-you-die bucket list and make note of where to find them! Three Fantastic Scottish Desserts
Ice Cream & Churros
Loop & Scoop, Glasgow
If you love ice cream you need to head to Loop & Scoop in Glasgow. This specialist ice cream bar was actually the first in the UK and boasts a huge menu. If you want to stuff your face with ice cream, this is the place to be.
We recommend ordering a cup full to the brim topped with a humongous churro. Choose your churro toppings then dig in!
Find them at 665 Great Western Road in Glasgow.
